For over half a century Lindquist Steels, Incorporated has specialized exclusively, in the distribution of the finest grades of tool steel. Founded in 1944 by George Lindquist, Lindquist Steels remains privately owned and operated by the original family.

Throughout the years we have consistently upheld our founder's exceedingly high standards for excellence in both product and service. As a result we have built a prestigious roster of loyal clients representing a wide range of industries including the demanding appliance, plastic, military, aerospace, surgical supply, and automobile industries.

Our warehouses offer extensive stocks of cold work die steels, cold rolled steels, plastic mold steels, shock resistant steels, hot work steels, powdered metals, precision ground stock, drill rod and blanks, stripper plate, forgings, hollow bar, and the capacity to handle special orders.

Lindquist offers extensive cutting capabilities which include over 25 circular and precision band saws that are fast, accurate, and reliable. Several of our saws offer top of the line fully automatic capabilities ensuring that orders that require extensive cutting are delivered accurately and quickly.

Each location operates on a MicroVax computer mainframe that is linked by a T1 fiber optic logistical system. The system enables instant stock location and accurate and reliable pricing. Our entire stock in each location is completely bar coded in order to provide a detailed history of the steel including mill certs, heat numbers, grade, size, and location within the warehouse.
