Product Analysis Reports: Lindquist provides comprehensive technical information for each piece and grade of steel we stock at every one of our locations. Lindquist also provides comprehensive technical bulletins which feature detailed information on the analysis, machinability, heat treating, stress relieving and tensile strength of our steel stock. For your convenience, these bulletins can be read and/or downloaded from the reference section of our website.

Bar Coding: At Lindquist, every individual piece of steel in our extensive inventory is identified with a bar code. Our customized bar code system is extremely efficient for both Lindquist and our customers in that it enables us to:

  Cutting Capabilities: Lindquist features a wide range of cutting capabilities. All orders unless specified are cut oversized by our highly trained saw technicians. We operate the following LSI owned saws:

  Grinding: Lindquist Steels can have virtually all orders precision ground to the tolerances our customers require. We hold several special service agreements with grinding houses that can supply Blanchard, Mattison, and centerless grinding capabilities. The material can be ground top and bottom or all six sides on plate, as well as precision centerless grinding on most rounds. Speak with one of our inside sales representatives to review the many grinding options available.
           
  Heat Treating: Utilizing the correct grade of tool steel in conjunction with the proper heat treatment will always maximize the life and operation of the end product. With this in mind, Lindquist has exclusive service agreements with heat-treating professionals. All of our experienced heat-treating vendors feature well-maintained, modern furnaces with numerous quality controls to ensure that the correct and critical heat treating of our tool steel is attained.
